Strong garb for a world brand.

Adidas distribution centre in Rieste.

In Rieste near Osnabrück, the Adidas Group had the company's largest distribution centre built. Since then, the three sales channels of wholesale, own retail and eCommerce have been united under one roof.

Hammersen produced the building envelope and the roof covering the large-scale centre, which was erected on an area of around 74,000 square metres. This includes two high-bay warehouses, a manual warehouse, an order-picking building and a separate office building.

The second high-bay warehouse (ASRS = Automated Storage and Retrieval System) with an area of almost 15,000 square metres is used as an automatic pallet warehouse. All three warehouses are connected to each other via the two-storey order-picking building constructed with a reinforced concrete skeleton.

The facility is part of the Adidas Group's Green Company Initiative, whose core objective is to build and operate buildings in an environmentally sound manner. As an experienced expert in this field, Hammersen was able to comprehensively integrate its expertise in the completion of the project.

All the work was completed on schedule and to the highest quality, so that the building was able to go into operation as planned.

Technical expertise, safe and highly efficient processes and a team that makes every project its own – that is how we at Hammersen ensure that everything is right from the facade to the roof. If you would like to discuss the project shown
